At AfghanArtisan, customer satisfaction is our priority. We take great care to ensure that every handmade rug is accurately described, carefully inspected, and securely packaged before shipment.

Returns

We accept return requests within 14 days of delivery.

To qualify for a return:

The rug must be unused and in its original condition.

The item must be free from stains, damage, odors, or signs of wear.

The rug must be returned in its original packaging or equivalent protective packaging.

Proof of purchase is required.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

Custom-made or personalized rugs

Special orders made upon customer request

Clearance or final sale items

Rugs that have been used, damaged, altered, or improperly stored after delivery

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged or if you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Please provide:

Order number

Product name or SKU

Photos of the item

Photos of the packaging

Our team will review the claim and arrange a replacement, exchange, or refund when applicable.

Refunds

Once the returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the status of your refund.

If approved:

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance for return shipments.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase, provided that the order has not yet been processed or shipped.

Insured Shipments

All orders shipped by AfghanArtisan are carefully packaged and insured during transit. If a package is lost or damaged during shipment, our team will work with the shipping carrier and insurance provider to resolve the issue promptly.
